Join the March Procrastination Challenge
So what projects have you been putting off? Maybe it’s an organizing project or a home improvement job? Maybe it’s something that’s been on your to-do list for over a year or over a week? Whatever it is, the Virtually Organized Procrastination Challenge is back! So no more excuses! Let’s roll up our sleeves and get something done!
So, how can you join? Just pick a new or unfinished project that’s been lingering around for a while and commit to finishing it by the end of the month.
If you have a blog, go ahead and announce to the world what project you are finally going to conquer, complete with pictures, and post your link below for everyone to check out.
If you don’t have a blog, simply leave a comment below telling us all about what you will stop procrastinating about this month.
At the end of the month, we’ll have a round-up of everyone’s completed projects, and one lucky winner will win a fabulous prize.
The beauty of this public “outing” is that by announcing your project to the entire blogosphere, you can gain a sense of accountability to keep you on track and motivate you through to completion.
So, what will you accomplish this March? Let us all know below!
Simply yours,
Debbie

I’ll finally put all of the digital photos of my kids into Lightroom, and print out a thumbnail guide, so that I can finally pick photos for a hard copy photo album.
Right now the photos are spread out on two computers, and under all kinds of different names that the camera assigned, and I am afraid some of them might be missing.
I will get all my 2008 photos uploaded, and I’ll print out a contact sheet of each album. Scary to tell you all that — but maybe I just can!
Hey, my big project was just completed last month — I went through EIGHT YEARS of paperwork in my den. Sorted, purged and filed. I don’t know if I qualify for Debbie’s prize, but I know I’ve already won my own — an organized den.

You really did work hard in February, Fran! I recommend a much easier task for the month of March!
It’s time to find a job or internship! I’m ashamed to say that this is something I’ve been putting off, especially with the economy like it is. I won’t bother to make excuses – now that college is DONE, I’m going to find a job!

I have been cleaning out all of my cabinets and organizing/filing important papers, pictures, etc…..I have put this off for 3 years and made my mind up this week that I would do it during my break. I feel so much better!
Thanks
Kelly
The wedding photo album…I am close to finishing, I really am. But every time I sit down at that table, I find something else to organize…which is actually improving the place, but not getting the (*&^%(*& album done.
It’s great when we get into an organizing mood and feel like we are finally being productive, but focus is really important so other things don’t distract you from your current goal. If it helps at all, tell yourself you’ll get to those “other” organizing jobs for the procrastination challenge next month.
ALL THOSE KODAK CAROUSELS FULL OF SLIDES FROM FORTY YEARS AGO… I WONDER WHETHER I’LL PARE THEM DOWN TO THE 100-200 PICTURES WHCH I WANT TO CONVERT DIGITALLY… THE SCANDIGITAL.COM SERVICE SHOULD MAKE IT EASIER THAN I MIGHT HAVE THOUGHT. I’LL TRY. THANKS FOR THE LINK DEBBIE.
[...] So how are all the March Procrastination Challenge projects progressing? I know. It’s already April 6 and I’m just now wrapping up the March Challenge. Just consider it a little extra bonus time to complete your projects! [...]
