Artful Over-the-Door Storage Giveaway
It’s been way too long since I’ve hosted a give-away here on Virtually Organized, but today I’ve got a great one for you! Read on for both a product review and a fabulous giveaway . . .
The back of the door is probably one of the most under-utilized storage spaces in the home. Over-the-door hooks are one way to put the back of your door to better use, but usually these types of hooks are high in function and low in style.

Recently, The Art of Storage sent me one of their super-functional and very stylish hooks to try out. I can tell you first-hand, these are not your typical over-the-door hooks!
Not only are there hooks beautifully designed, but the design itself serves a very practical use. We’ve all experienced and come to accept the “hook bulge” that common household hooks can leave on clothing. (You know, that bulge in the back of a shirt that makes it look like you’re walking around with the hook still on the inside of the shirt?!?!) The Art of Storage hooks and racks have answered this problem with a gentle and clean design that eliminates the bulge and saves your garment from stretching and distortion.
I tried out the Vivaldi III Coat Hook (retail price $7.99 for the single hook to $14.99 for the 3-hook version). This hook would work beautifully in bedrooms, mudrooms, bathrooms or hall closets. And it would be especially useful for apartment dwellers or renters, since it doesn’t need to be permanently installed.
Items from The Art of Storage collection are available at The Container Store, target.com, amazon.com, bedbathandbeyond.com and theartofstorage.com.

The Art of Storage gave me a second Vivaldi III hook to give away to my readers. Just leave me a comment below by Friday June 26th at midnight EST to let me know how you would use the hook in your home. Good luck!
Simply yours,
Debbie

Well, you knew I had to enter! I would use this in my guest bathroom – I hadn’t worried too much about hooks, but my best friend and her son have moved into my basement bedroom/bathroom/family room as a temporary “apartment,” and she’s got nowhere to put her towel!
Joan’s last blog post..I suck!
I would use this in my bedroom, specifically outside my closet to hang tomorrow’s outfit on it. That hopefully will help simplify my morning routine.

That Vivaldi III hook is gorgeous–the brushed metallic finish and artful curves makes it look modern but classic. As a professional organizer, I’m always looking for ways to create “uplift” and vertical space, while as a renter, I’m always bemoaning how few chances I have to “make” space when I can’t drill or construct. I can soooo see this in my entryway. What a yummy contest!
Hi! I like the idea of hanging my husband’s uniform for the next day on this new hook on our bedroom door. It would look nice and be out of reach. When he lays his outfit out anywhere else, my 3 little ones pull it down. Thanks!
I really like the look of the hanger, plus I use silver accents in my bathroom, so this would be perfect. I would use it to hang towels. I have been looking for the right fixture for towels. Now that there are four of us, our current arrangement isn’t working. This would end my search! I also like the name “Vivaldi” because Antonio Vivaldi is my favorite composer.
Thank you for all the support you offer to help me in my process of organizing my home and life!
